I can bet that isn't in the US. I could never see them allowing a dog to visit, much less sleep with you.

You've got a REALLY good friend.
And one who will protect you to the death.
I love German Shepherds.

GSDs are the absolute best...I've had a few myself.

When my three "old girls" (two GSDs and a Black Lab) passed away a few years ago I wasn't sure I could ever have another dog again. The pain of loss is too much.

But not as much as the pain of not having a dog.

So now I have two sisters who will be four years old this June. They are the most loyal friends I will ever have, and I love them with all my heart. I know they would give their lives to protect me.

We've had a German Shepherd since we were first married in 1969.
Beaux, Studs, Max, Gypsy, and Nasha.
I had Hilda, a rescue dog, when I was in college and after.
She was my first.

As you know, they are incredibly intelligent.
Downright eerily smart.

Loyal and protective?
I'll tell ya'.
Max staved off a home invasion when I was out of town and my wife and young daughter were home alone...TWICE.!

Nasha was our last and the only one to die from just old age.
She was 13.
We travel a lot now, mainly visiting grandkids, so decided it wouldn't be fair to have another dog.
Not having that responsibility does free up your life some.
But I still miss them.

Too bad they seem to be susceptible to various debilitating diseases and conditions.
Long life to you and your girls.
