The One who hung out with prostitutes, tax collectors, adulterers, terrorists, outcasts, beggars, the downtrodden and religious apostates?

That Jesus?

Hmm...

He must be thinking of another Jesus...

I don't agree with him.

But I'm not married to him. I'm not even remotely related to any of them.

What his/the family's personal beliefs are, or aren't, have nothing whatsoever to do with the show, which I think is a hoot.

Call me crazy, but in most cases I can manage to separate someone's beliefs from whatever his art is.

Example...I think Ted Nugent is a huge pile of dogshit, on a personal level. But I like some of his songs.

Of course, that also works the other way. I don't give a shit how "progressive" and "liberal" someone is...if I think the person is a crappy actor or singer, that's how I feel and I'm not going to loooovvve his art based on his personal beliefs.

someone can be the greatest idiot on the planet but be a genius in their medium. you just got to seperate the artist from the end product.

I think "Home Bound", "Death By Misadventure", "Live It Up", and "Stranglehold" are pretty cool songs.

"Terminus El Dorado"...I can't decide if it's misogynistic or not, but I do see it as a somewhat "dark" answer to the Beach Boys' rather nauseatingly sweet "Fun, Fun, Fun".

"Cat Scratch Fever" and "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang"....meh. Don't really like them so much.
