even hair spray will help. The best of all, though, is hornet spray. It shoots several feet and foams up, so protective eyewear wouldn't help an attacker. Main thing, though, is a cell phone and a dog of any size in the room with you, not roaming loose in the house. Some muggers have been known to stop by when their intended victim was gone, to make friends with the dog. Then they return and let their furry friend out the front door before attacking their victim.

and now understand more of the story, although the page loaded in a jumbled manner. Still don't entirely understand your amusement about "another" wonderful story from Florida. Did my reply turn over your tickle box, or is it still the article? I'm certainly not in that godforsaken state. The MidWest state where I retired is even worse, at least out in the boonies.

I didn't think about the "slide right off" problem. Use less spray.
