Well, today I was almost killed by a driver on the feeder on I 10.

It was close, I was on foot.

I was crossing at the light, had the green.

The driver was in a big hurry, couldn't wait for his light to turn green.

He was on his cellphone talking, yeah we were that close.

There was no more then 6 inches between me and the car.

He was going fast, I would have been killed or badly injured.

If I would not have stopped and jumped back I would not be here anymore.

I think I used up all my nine lives by now.

He was in a big hurry.

I don't think he even noticed me.

Never looked over.

He was lost in his cellphone conversion.

I was hit by a car driving in reverse at a slow speed a few months ago. I've recovered from the scrapes and bruises, but the shock of being hit by a vehicle and wondering whether the driver will stop is harrowing.

It shows that people need to be aware of their surroundings when traveling. The new technology inventions have some wonderful benefits, but being self-absorbed isn't one of them.
