Anyone else belong to or have had experience with "Classmates?"

I joined several years ago and enjoyed keeping in touch with old friends from school. But, during the last few years it's been a little time-consuming and labor-intensive to navigate the site.

But what I find strange is I'm getting signatures to my "Guestbook" from people I didn't know. And a few from fellow students I rarely knew.

What's up? I'm wondering if these individuals are "paid" by "Classmates" to "sign" guestbooks in order to pump up site hits? Or could it be a kind of robo-signing using unsuspecting "signers" and "signees?" Again, to increase "hit" stats.

Anyone else experienced this?

Also, wasn't "Classmates" bought out by "Great Reunions?" Might explain the change in site format.

That would explain the "signatures." I suppose someone clicking to see my profile might be thinking, "Huh, that guy? I wonder what that SOB is up to these days!"

We touch each other so many ways!

I joined with a pseudonym a few years ago. I got lots of replies as if people actually remembered me. I just wanted to snoop other classmates without anyone knowing about me! LOL
