My band opened for these guys in 1967 at the Ambassador in DC, and it was a whole different group, although I think several of them passed away long ago. Bob Hite on vocals, Henri Vestine on lead, Larry Taylor on bass, those are the only names I remember. Larry Taylor was real cool, giving me helpful hints on bass, which I played for my group in those days, along with keyboards.
