I have no personal knowledge of who many of these people are- just a few of them I do know about. That just makes it all the more interesting to me.
This last one is my grandmother.

(6,154 posts)Like I was recommending before if you post these to flickr and have your relatives register they can help to comment, flag and tag photos so that you can crowd source the job of working out who is who.

(18,998 posts)I have a few of my family too that my brother scanned but I don't know how to post them.
My Father was in WW1 and had some pictures made in France and one of him on a gun crew in Hattie in 1916...
But yours seem in such good condition...

(15,676 posts)She passed in 1969- she was 93 when she died. I estimate from that, this portrait was done about 1890 or thereabouts.
