She's not everyone's cup of tea I'm sure, but I love her show, and her appearances on Graham Norton as well.
I posted this in another thread about goofy comedic roles, and I just had to share it here too in case anyone hasn't seen her and might enjoy her show (on PBS in the US).

She plays "Chummy", a highborn British girl whose family is aghast that she has become a midwife in London's East End in the fifties. It's one of my favorite shows. I had no IDEA she was such a great and terrifyingly physical comedian!
