figured if we couldn't finish the bottle it wouldn;t be a great loss, as it was just two of us and he already had a fair amount of beer, I had 2 beers and half a bottle of Riesling now I will finish the Freixenet.

I have a bottle Chateau Ste. Michelle from the Columbia Valley for breakfast.

I usually have three or four a day. I've weaned myself Dow to just two but that's about it. I've been in the hospital a few times and go off of it completely but end up starting back up even though it tastes aweful when I start again. I realy don't like the taste of water. I've been a type one diabetic for about 30 years and before I was diagnosed I was drinking four 32oz cups of water every night after going to bed so I really don't like water.

A steal at $9 a bottle, because you only need one bottle, AND it doesn't hang you over.

There's only one champagne I enjoy more, and it cost three times what Tott's does.

I supplemented my scotch with a couple shots of Buffalo Trace bourbon (not mixed, of course - just wanted the buzz to go a little longer and I have a lot more of that than the scotch...)

Buffalo Trace is one of my everyday pours. I stopped on the way home from work to pick up some bubbly for the New Year (Korbel) and out of nowhere, a 750 of Laphroaig 10 year fell into my cart. Landed right next to a bottle of Booker's. Thankfully, both bottles survived unhurt but I thought it best that I bring them home for observation. They both seem well this AM. One of the reasons I got the Laphroaig is to vat with other brews (such as a gifted bottle of Johnnie Walker Red) that I struggle to enjoy neat but don't want to toss.

Anyway, Korbel for the New Year and Highland Park 12 for the warm-up. I really enjoyed the HP 12, this being the first I've tasted it. Mainly a bourbon fan, BT and Four Roses SB being my favorites.

and having random bottles fall right into our carts. At least, every one I've ever been in has been like that.

It's a remarkable coincidence that the bottles that fall just happen to be the bottles I want!

It was very humanitarian of you to take them home for observation. Can't be too careful!

This was my first bottle of Buffalo Trace. There will be more.

Buffalo Trace is a great bourbon and a good value. One of my old roomates from college lives in Frankfort KY. A while back I visited him and took a tour of BT. Totally cool. Enjoy you BT!

I got to tell you though, here in PA, Evan Williams Black Label sells for abour $12.00/750 mL. As a person who consumes 4 Roses SB and $60.00 + single malts, this $12.00 bottle isn't bad, I drink it neat all the time.

Used to to drink that in abundance during holidays in Spain 20 odd years ago.

A current UK favorite is the Italian equivalent - Prosecco. Did a bottle of the last night with my daughter.
