high and decline - personal taste, but for us, a bit too predictable, too "nice" (very brief scenes, an annoying need to resolve things really quickly)....we turned it off half way through and went back to our Breaking Bad marathon!

I think it is either an age or generation thing, but involves pacing - the internet/twitter age really has shifted movies and entertainment in my view toward much more fast resolution/action, far less long, drawn out development.

We watched The Impossible the other night - recent movie, highly rated - we would it way too "hollywood" ized. The new ways of making movies just don't resonate with us....oh well - we can always go back to some of our favorites!
