We have to wear sweaters inside because if we turn the heat up it will be hot as blazes in my daughter's room. Our place heats and cools very strangely.

My childhood bedroom received NO heat; hot as blazes seems downright attractive compared to the frozen tundra I endured during those winter months, and those damned sweaters issued by my parents didn't help, not one iota.
