All 50 US states now terrifying to British people

I'm not sure I'd find Hawaii that terrifying to be honest.

http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/international/all-50-us-states-now-terrifying-to-british-people-2014010882408

ALL 50 US states are now incredibly frightening if you are an ordinary British person, it has been confirmed.

Previously Britons were scared only of the religious Southern states, the creepy, midwest survivalist states and the insane parts of California.

But the ‘polar vortex’ means the British now regard almost normal places like New Hampshire, Illinois and Massachusetts as extremely terrifying death traps.

Tom Logan, from Hatfield, said: “America is now the same as Australia. Below the veneer of familiarity there is an unsettling weirdness and/or the unstoppable horrors of nature.”

do so.

Never mind about "terrifying". Some people in US are extremely ... weird. Religious nuts for ones, Republicans, survivalists, extreme right ... .

Our own extreme right seems like moderate Republicans to me. What we consider as Conservatives would be at most centre-left in US.

I am definitely confused why would anyone on progressive board consider Daily Mail as a trustworthy left leaning news source. THAT is totally incomprehensible to me.

One is satire, the other is just appalling beyond parody.

From Food Safety News:

By eating the wrong raw snails or slugs, or possibility by touching their “slime trails,” you can find yourself suffering from nausea and abdominal pain that can quickly turn into urinary problems, coma, and even death...

As I recall, you guys SENT those whack-job fundies to our shores in the 17th century. Never mind Mad King George, we're still recovering from the freakin' Mayflower.

Next time you Brits want to ship out your cray-cray religious folks, please consider sending us the Druids. We're happy to provide the Honey Mead and build a stone monument they can worship on Midsummer's day--we call that Burning Man over here. They'd fit right in!

and it's delicious.

I'm firmly of the belief that we need to eat more offal. No point in letting any part of the animal go to waste.
