In foster now. Prior owner charged with abuse. 11 weeks. A sweet little pittie cross girl who is white with dark brown nose and bright blue eyes. One eye has eye liner; the other has a dk brown patch. One ear is brindle; the other ear is white with brown spots.
Save me, somebody. Save me. I have 2 large dogs. I don't have bandwidth for a 3rd. I'm so up for a puppy, though.

(6,011 posts)or "Petrina","Petie" for short, because she looks like the boy dog "Petey", the Our Gang dog.
Also, the names mean "little rock, or stone". Fruit stone = fruit pit

(22,271 posts)I have 6 cats and, on Thanksgiving Day, saw a little tiny white fuzzball on the patio -- about 7-8 weeks old. Long story short, got her inside and was going to "foster her." Yeah. Right. Her and her one green eye and one blue eye. I now have 7 cats.
She came to YOU for a reason.

(22,271 posts)I finally figured out how to d/l pictures from my iPhone but getting them into photobucket has proven to be a whole different problem. She's a cutie, though. All white except for a grey "skid mark" on her head.

(22,885 posts)What I love about pets is that they love you unconditionally but, in the case of cats, they also do what they want. But you know when they purr that it's genuine.

(14,881 posts)When I write back on Sunday (1st day I will have the time to do it after giving myself time to think it through) I will explain that I had my Luna pulled from death row in Georgia, made all the arrangements from here in Maine, so no need for them to apologize. I know exactly how much it cost for good arrangements, from vetting and boarding, to safe transport.
I don't expect to pass their requirements because private rescues are so restrictive and my yard is not fenced, only my pasture. But that's ok. I think it's best to approach it assuming I'll be rejected and then if I'm not, I'll be happy, but if I am rejected it won't be a big deal...
