Personally I'm a Niner fan, always have been. I doubt they'll beat Seattle. If it does come down to those two I'll root for Denver.

Nobody gets inside Peyton Manning's head and turns him into a league-average QB like William Stephen Belichick. Of course, nobody gets to Bill like Eli so it all evens out for the Mannings...but as far as this year's playoffs are concerned, the tea leaves favor the Patriots.

Pot Bowl? No. It'll be Pats vs. Seahawks.

I gotta think that if Talib hadn't gotten hurt early though, that game would have ended differently.

Now I gotta root for the Seahawks. I hate Colin Kaepernick almost as much as I hate all the Mannings.

Go Seahawks!

...I don't pretend to know the first thing about football. I just happen to live in a state with a team that's doing well.

In fact, after your prediction last week, a couple of local football fans I know agreed with you - said it would be Seattle and New England at the Superbowl.

Manning has generally played well against the Patriots (especially in the regular season), even though his W-L record hasn't been good. Most of the losses were by four points or less, so he's generally been competitive, but just come down on the losing side. His numbers against the Pats in the playoffs haven't been very good, but then again he's now 2-2 against the Pats in the playoffs.

I'm not much of a football fan but I do love seeing people excited and happy. A Seattle-Denver game would be a lot of fun, and the concession stands would do beaucoup business!
