With a cat Problem is, said cat (who I found on pet finder.com) is in IOWA and I am in San Diego, CA.

Wondering---does anyone know anyone who travels between Iowa (close to La Crosse, WI) and Cali and might be willing to bring the cat to me?

I will of course reimburse beer and travel money….and kitty chow and litter of course

1. Sorry I can't help out but I'd love to see said cat's pic.

I promise I won't adopt her. I'm nowhere near Iowa and my littlest kitty, Babycat, made it clear, a long time ago, that no new cats are allowed in this house. I tried to adopt two long-haired black sister kitties, several years ago, but Babycat terrorized the shit out of them (literally!) for six months straight. We worked with our vet and even a trainer but it was no use. I finally had to give them back to the person who gave them to me.

There are groups that do this sort of thing, transport animals across states to new homes. I know of at least one member here involved in that but can't remember the name right now. But you will find them in Pets. Best of luck to you.
