Even as a kid, watching something like "Black Sheep Squadron", set during WWII, seeing 1970's hairstyles on the men and women really took me out of the viewing moment.

... it got especially evident in the last few seasons. But then looking at Beach Boys album covers, hair did start getting shaggy.
