Dessert wine is a thing. The only line I draw is the meandering scrawl that passes for my signature on the credit card receipt after dinner.

Somebody else will have to drive.

Washington wineries produce some excellent dessert wines, including one based on locally-grown loganberries...

This is why, many times I just invite a lady friend with me.
Dessert can be shared!

Dessert requires its own glass of wine, perhaps a nice Château d'Yquem or a raisin wine like Passito di Caluso.
