But I sort of understand why they did it. I saw Brazil in a theater full of "It's morning again in America" Reagan zombies and they were ANGRY!

The later Blade Runner cuts with the ambiguous ending are much, much better. The movie makes sense then.

I'd still love to see a Philip. K. Dick novel done straight, a "Harry Potter" or "Lord of the Rings" treatment that has some respect for written story.

I first saw it in theater then bought the director's cut when it came out on DVD. I've watched it so many times, love the score. So I immediately recognized that shot in the OP.

Can't imagine people being angry with Brazil. Guess the truth hurts.
