I wish I had his sense of humor. My neighbors around here all are afraid of the dark and have flood lights that come in if the wind blows or a dog moves. Some (thankfully further away) even have big spot lights on telephone poles, which they pay for at $30 a month, that stay on all night long. I don't get it. Why do people move to rural quiet, dark areas only to light up the night like a used car lot?

We turn off all our lights at night and have for over 12 years. Never have we had a problem due to lack of flood lights.

I can understand her using them because she lives alone and is not in the greatest health.
