NARWHAL® IMPERIAL STOUT

A malt-forward monster, highlighting the depths of malt flavor.

Narwhal Imperial Stout is inspired by the mysterious creature that thrives in the deepest fathoms of the frigid Arctic Ocean. Featuring incredible depth of malt flavor, rich with notes of espresso, baker’s cocoa, roasted grain and a light hint of smoke, Narwhal is a massive malt-forward monster. Aggressive but refined with a velvety smooth body and decadent finish, Narwhal will age in the bottle for years to come.

It ages well BTW, so get some more to cellar for a year or two.

I've noticed more of the specialty beers here in Korea in the supermarkets. Found one from my home state of Oregon and bought it to share with my in-laws. Finding wine from Oregon is impossible, though there are lots of wines from Washington and California.

I miss the apricot ale I used to be able to get in the states.

And I usually love everything that Dogfish Ale makes.

Right after I bought my house my friend and her husband & kids came over for a house warming. He brought a 4pack of the Aprihop and as a nicety I drank a bottle (barely). 6 years later I still have 1 bottle left from that nasty beer but the only reason I don't toss it - my friend's husband passed away a few years back so I keep it in memory of him.
