Never use ProFlowers.com. Always use a local place

I'm out of town for a month and dropped $100 on flowers ( and a V-Day delivery surcharge). Needless to say, the wife has not received anything and to her I appear to be a schmucky husband who didn't send his wife or new daughter anything on Valentines Day.

I normally send flowers via a local shop, but I wanted to try this because they sponsor a radio show I like.

ONLY GO LOCAL!

She appreciated my effort being so far from home. I told her an hour before they eventually showed that I had tried to buy her flowers. She was so busy she didn't even realize today was VDay.

We apologize that you had a bad experience with our flowers; it isn't typical and we certainly didn't want you to look bad on Valentine's Day. We work closely with our partners to ensure timely delivery and if yours were late, we will make it right for you. The flowers that we provide are obtained directly from the growers, hand packed, and shipped overnight to ensure their freshness for at least a week. This means that they do arrive in bud form and will occasionally arrive tightly closed and take 1-2 days to bloom fully. I cannot tell exactly what you ordered from the picture but it appears to be tulips and some kind of lilly. Tulips are a heavy bloomed flower with a flexible stem, so will naturally droop a little, but once you get them in water should perk up. If that didn't happen, we guarantee both freshness for a week and saitsfaction, and you should definitely give us a call.

As far as to whom we sponsor, ProFlowers is a big sponsor of radio across the country, including college and high school radio stations, regardless of politcal affiliation. We feel like regardless of whether or not people are Democrats, Republicans, or something else, that their friends and loved ones deserve beautiful, long lasting gifts.

If for any reason you haven't been able to resolve this matter to your satisfaction, please feel free to give me a call. I can be reached at 866-526-9426. -Steve
