Poor guy.

JK Rowling says 'Harry Potter' ending may be wrong

LONDON (AP) — Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is having second thoughts about having ended the series with heroine Hermione Granger paired up romantically with Ron Weasley.

The hugely successful author tells Wonderland magazine she chose the red-haired Ron for Hermione for very personal reasons having little to do with literature.

She told the magazine she "wrote the Hermione/Ron relationship as a form of wish fulfillment" and said the couple might eventually need relationship counseling.

The soon-to-be published interviewed was reported in The Sunday Times, which also quoted actress Emma Watson, who played Hermione, expressing doubts about the viability of her character's relationship with Ron.

Where Dumbledore is the bad guy and He who shall not be named is really just misunderstood. 7 new books and 12 new movies. Yay!

The problem in the end was she killed off too many characters. I mean, yeah, some had to die. But she went way overboard.

The Harry-Ginny relationship kind of just happens. It wasn't developed over time other than Ginny having a years-long crush on Harry from when she was 10. I think there were a few mentions of Harry feeling a bit jealous about Ginny, but nothing serious, if I recall. And, we never really got Ginny's feelings when Harry had his crush on Cho Chang.

However, Ron & Hermione did have quite a bit of back & forth through the books, dating back to the Goblet of Fire when Ron was jealous that Hermione went to dance with Viktor Krum.

Of course, maybe I'm forgetting these things, as it's been a few years since I went through the books.
