In the wake of the Broncos' loss, my girlfriend has vowed to be intolerable for at least two weeks.

I've never heard so many f bombs in a single day in my life.

"What the fuck" was the most commonly uttered phrase to emit from her lips last night.

She's a die-hard Broncos fan and all of her friends know it, and today, many of them are rubbing salt in the wound.

It's gonna be a tough two weeks but I know we'll get through it.

I just can not take any sporting event THAT seriously...No one died. It's a game--albeit an uncontrollably commercial and hyped game.

with everything you say here.

Except when the Cowboys are in the Superbowl.

Then it's NOT just a game. It IS life. Or Death. I understand Miles' gf completely.

I think I'm happier knowing the Cowboys sucked and were never gonna make it than I would have been to get beaten that badly.

Y'all will be OK Miles! I've been practicing "getting over it" for years.

I'd hope that her, shall we say, "ancillaries" are more than enough to outweigh such an negative character trait

ANY football team can win a single game (yes, even the Minnesota Vikings- they actually won 4 this year!), but a 7-game series usually (but not always by any means) lets the better team shine.
