It's MAMMOGRAM day!!!

Gotta re-shave my pits and get ready for the Big Squeeze.

No powders, perfumes, or deodorants.

Don't be jealous now. You'll get yours someday, ladies.

And thanks to Obamacare, at least now mammograms are free!

And that will save a lot of our sisters' lives.

So, knowing that, I'll do it with a smile and an attitude of gratitude.

See ya in a few.

Not very comfortable. But it's just a few minutes and then you're out the door.

was that nasty stuff they make you drink. Ask if there's a tastier alternative, or a way to mix it with some juice or soda or something. I got to where eerytime it was time to drink it again, I wanted to scream. The procedure was a piece of cake though!

I was prescribed Suprep. IMHO it's a big improvement over the Miralax in Gatorade routine. You have to mix it with cold water. Tastes a bit like salty fruit punch; there's less total liquid to drink and you drink half of it in eve. and the other half the next day. Drawback is it costs a lot more ($60 for me).

BCBSNJ cut back so far on coverage that I couldn't afford testing so what is the point of going. Since the ACA everything is covered and most of it 100% so I have been seeing my doctors again. It's kind of touching how happy they are to seem me taken care of again.

I'm sorry you don't get muffins!

They have comfy chairs in a home like setting, Fluffy robes and slippers, muffins, juice and tea and sometimes cupcakes. It's been that way since they opened. They are part of a the hospital. And yes, my Exchange policy covers it 100%.

under Federal guidelines I qualify for Medicaid, but my Governor and legislature did not expand Medicaid. Therefore if I want even the bronze plan it would cost me about $400 a month. I don't have that money.

I'm kidding, I'm expecting uncomfortable and awkward, which I can deal with.

Good luck!

The newer equipment is so much better. I had a few back in the 80s and they were soooo painful. Now, just a bit uncomfortable.
