Being only 15, I'm not surprised at that...

Her performance was near flawless, though.

Lipnitskaya doesn't skate, she -- goes to work. Maybe it's a Russian thing.

9. I gather she was trained in a very regimented manner, but just looked highly focused to me...

Plus she likely knew Putin would be watching... Lot of pressure, but I just think she's been trained to concentrate on form form form..

It may well come. Her moves were not mechanical, so she has the grace to develop the artistic side...

Unfortunately, their personalities end up being too "regimented," too. But as you say, hopefully it is something that she can outgrow.

At the risk of sounding "old school," I want to see them giving themselves as much pleasure as they're trying to give me.

I saw her skate in red in the Team event...is that what you mean? Not the women's individual?

The team skating event is over, the pairs skating is under way, the individual skating starts next week.

her performance contributed to her team winning the gold - it wasn't, itself, a gold medal performance (as it would be for the individual event).

That said I loved her performance.
