I experienced synchronicity today.

I was told by the receptionist at my doctors office that the doctor is out of network for my new insurance. This was after I had already seen him; I had to make a large payment for something not previously anticipated. At that very moment, I received a phone call from Wells Fargo notifying me that I was two months late on my student loan repayment. I informed her I had a 6 month grace period after graduation and that I had graduated in December. Which meant no payment until June.

She notified me that my contractual obligations required mandatory repayment after 5 years (apparently the 4 year undergrad is still the golden standard) and that 5 years had passed in December.

Synchronicity: the perception of causal sameness between two distinctly similar events that, despite their similarity, are not causally linked.
