4. How are things looking in the Hudson Valley?

It's a winter wonderland up here. We are waiting on an oil delivery Saturday and we have 2 days (maybe) worth of firewood left. Come on spring!

5. Very very WHITE. The snow just stopped.

Well. I hope it's stopped.

Our heat is fed by huge underground propane tanks.

At the old place up in Saugerties, we heated with oil. Toward the end, it cost more than our mortgage. When our vermont castings wood stove was new the oil bill dropped considerably.

Can you get another cord of wood anytime soon? There is nothing as warm as a good wood stove.

6. Hoping to have more in a day or two.

And a friend said he has a bit extra if we run out before more is delivered so we're ok. Still snowing like mad up here.

7. How much new snow do you expect from this storm?

It's wonderful when friends can help one another.

And yes indeed to friends! I don't want to huddle around a space heater as my pipes explode around me!
