So, what do DUers think about what happened to Zoe Barnes in episode 1? I did not see that coming. Considering they were at a metro station and talking near the tracks, maybe I should have saw it coming, but I did not. I am surprised by the way the character exited the show and how early in the second season the character was eliminated.

1. My thoughts

I was sad to see Kate Rooney offed so quickly from season #2 and even the lawsuit with CWI and Claire was cleaned up pretty quickly. But I think both of them cleaned up the slate to focus on some really powerful storytelling for the rest of the season. I thought Gerald McRaney was great as Raymond Tusk and I'm so glad his role was expanded this season.

The thing about the Zoey Barnes storyline is that it is NOT overwith. It looks like that Hacker was able to prove that Lucas wasn't lying about Zoey's contacts with Frank Underwood but unfortunately we'll have to wait another year to see what happens there.

This is this - several good characters were eliminated but they brought in some great new ones. It was a win all around!
