It didn't show you much of what the movie is about, but the first trailer is aimed more at the longtime fans while giving you a clue about the characters themselves. Over the upcoming trailers, we'll get more of the film's themes and story - and villains which is really important - and it'll roll from there.

if people missed it, the Chris Pratt character is a "child of the 80's" that got taken into space as a kid, hence the walkman and other references and his kind of child-like nature here. And the whole reason for the very amusing Raiders of the Lost Ark opening.
