Justice Scalia And Jon Stewart Concur Chicago Pizza Isn't Pizza

tomato soup in a bread bowl
- Stewart

Back in 2012, the justice told the paper "it should be called a tomato pie." Explaining the difference meticulously, he noted that real pizza is from Naples, Italy. "It is thin, it is chewy, and crispy, OK?"

I went to Chicago once, and had their so called "Pizza".
I was not that in to it.

Now that I know how I should enjoy it, I think I now appreciate it more.

Thanks for educating me.

It's awesome!

... I even like New York style pizza - I grew up eating the stuff. Chicago deep dish is a whole different thing, but it's a very good different thing.

The original Chicago pizzeria restaurants that serve deep dish pizza are a great adventure too if you're ever in town.

As is Beau Jo's in Colorado. Odd but quite good:

(You eat the crust with HONEY! No wonder they legalized pot!)

Scalia thinks that the Founding Fathers had one original intent fixed for all time. What a maroon.

There's just a lot of it to hold the massive amount of goodness atop the crust. But Chicago Deep Dish is not Pizza Hut pan style.
