Who watches Shameless? Who is your favorite character?

My surprise pick this season is Carl. He seemed like a non-player before, but his practical, but delinquent manner of sorting out his world always makes me chuckle. It seems like he's accepted his dysfunctional environment, and just tries to make it better, within those limited parameters. Maybe because there are no solid role models around him, he's not even trying to put on that false second face that people learn to put on to navigate in the "normal" world.

1. Ironically, he's seemed the least self-destructive character this season...

And that's saying a lot.

3. It is very interesting what is happening to Fiona.

Even though she has been the pillar for that family for so many seasons, now that she's found her way into the "real" world, her feelings of worthlessness are sabotaging her.

While her brother, Lip, is learning how kind that other world can be if you really make an effort to come through bad circumstances.

2. I want to watch Shameless.

Only got to see the first two episodes.

Then I lost Showtime, and got Encore instead through my bundle.
Dangit all.

4. I hate to say it, but that show is cathartic.

It always makes me feel like I dodged a bullet.

I have to admit that I find Emmy Rossum very attractive.

She has a very pretty voice too.
