BF had terrible week. Father dies last weekend, he had to fire someone and they ate a bullet.

And I'm a bitchy blonde. I was just horrified for him I didn't even know how to respond but he likes that I bitch. For some reason it makes him laugh. I just feel bad for being horribly insensitive to his needs but he's an EE and doesn't talk about stuff much.

I think he felt let down tonight but we talked about it. bamademo Mar 2014 #2
Sounds like you're good for him. Not insensitive at all. When I feel bad, I'd lots rather roll in IrishAyes Mar 2014 #3
I hope so, he seems to like me a lot. bamademo Mar 2014 #4
I doubt you are too much or he wouldn't still be there. Maybe it makes him feel good because you IrishAyes Mar 2014 #5
Tried to tell him, he acted like it didn't bother him but how could it not. bamademo Mar 2014 #6

I had no clue and I'm extremely self centered at times. Fortunately he likes that.

can get mad at him (or act like it) and still stay. Reminds him to feel secure.

Awful about the suicide, but it almost surely wasn't his fault. If the person really had to be fired, and this was not some injustice, they might've been acting out and would've done what they did in any case, fired or otherwise. I've often read that suicide is the most aggressive thing you can do to people.
