I was out for my walk to.the park and I saw the banner.

going on. My dad wanted to get the free pancakes. The line was out the door. I took him to Denny's instead. I'm not standing in line for pancakes.

at churches all over the US. I took my daughter to one tonight, I have four more with pictures on my Facebook feed.
Shrove Tuesday, Mardi Gras, Carnival. It is all the same holiday.
