dang! I've somehow hidden my toolbar and URL bar on my pc! help me, techies!

I now can only get them to show when I hover over the top of my screen with my cursor.

I know it has something to do with the control panel but damned if I can find where......

Is this in Firefox ? If so right click on the empty space to the right of the tabs then click on Menu Bar
Then View -> Toolbars and click on Navigation Toolbar.

7. Did you lose the Windows taskbar or the Firefox toolbar?

If you've lost the Windows taskbar next time you see it right click on it and then click on Properties and then
uncheck the [V] Auto-hide the Taskbar box.

9. It was a little icon which I right clicked in desperation and got the Hide Toobar thingie.

It was checked, god knows how. So I just unchecked it and all is well with no drama...

3. Try right-clicking at top of screen (above address bar)

See if that gives you a drop-down menu to turn on the address bar and toolbar.

unchecked it, but how did it get checked in the first place?

I've done stupid stuff before (my computer guy called it "fat finger" and laughed). This is a new one...whew!

somehow did it...I am often wakeful in the night and am up for about an hour or so...perhaps I did it mistakenly when I was a bit groggy...but it hasn't happened to me for a while now...usually I am alert enough...but I AM getting older...ugh...
