Until I read his last book. Now I dunno what's going on. I just want a new book to come out. Right now!!!

It's obvious that the TV show will wrap up its run (using plot points from Martin) well before he gets around to finishing book 7.

It will be interesting to see if the show goes downhill after next season (which will likely conclude the book 4 and 5 storylines) once they end up having to work off whatever skeleton framework Martin has in place.

5. they've been doing that from the beginning

They've also done a lot of photos of other characters with characters that don't come together in the show at all, like Theon with Cersei, and a lot of humorous photos usually with Daenerys, Jon Snow, Cersei and one of the other younger good looking guys. They always do more photo shoots with the more popular characters. Do an image google search on GOT... there's tons of publicity photos both in and out of costume.

It's a photo shoot. It's rather apparent that the photographers are going with what groupings they want, how and where those groups pose, etc. I don't even see anything that you apparently are with Daenerys and Jon Snow together... these were all group shots.

I'm also not seeing how those two come together in any logical way in the series anyway unless for some reason at the end, like the dragons are used to blast the white walkers/melt the wall, whatever. They're in completely different story lines.

I don't know if you've read the books, but so far they don't even know about each other and are at opposite ends to the world involved in stories of their own.

7. I didn't even know there WERE books until after all ready watching

all three seasons. They're great though and WAY more involved. Just about a month ago I borrowed books 3 through 5 from my neighbor (she loaned the first two to someone and hasn't gotten them back) then I got the first two really cheap at the used book store and already read them (you can't put them down!). Now I'm starting back at the beginning and reading them all in order again... the first time around I raced through skimming a lot here and there just to find out what happened with this or that situation.
