Cats and dogs meeting babies for the first time

I took in my brother's dog when he and my sister-in-law had to move into an apartment that did not allow pets. Then, they had my nephew. The dog was ok until he started crawling and then he was all OH HELL TO THE NO. But, they became like siblings - complete with sibling rivalry. I have a picture of the dog sticking his head in front of the camera when I was trying to take a picture of my nephew and that sort of sums up their relationship.
My nephew is 12 now and my dog died 8 years ago, but my nephew still talks about him.
