But I like most kinds with my favorites being ginger ale, rootbeer and tonic. Shasta used to make a wonderful apple soda that I loved.

I had to give up all tea forever and have been making do by drinking this yummy stuff:

It sits on the shelves just below the Klass mixes. Hope I don't get hooked. The powdered mix, while not fizzy, is more fitting for my budget.

if you feel like something fizzy. We did that with frozen lemonade, grape juice, cranberry juice, etc. instead of soda.

Ends up being less expensive, and less calories than some of the sodas out there.

It is awesome, but used full strength, I think it would be very strong. I only use a half tube for 8-12oz of water. Never thought to mix it with seltzer water. I'll try that tonight.

BTW, it's sweetened with Stevia and says it's 10 cals per mixed tube, so it's definitely better than me breaking down and getting a soda in the afternoon.

Edited to add: OMG! I just found out they have TrueGrapefruit as well. I haven't seen it in the stores, but I can order it from Amazon

or soda water. I have some to-go packets of Lipton decaf iced black tea/half berry lemonade. The first ingredient is honey/sugar granules yet it has that overly-sweetened taste because it also has sucralose for sweetener. Splenda is sucralose- it's incredibly sweet and I'd much rather consume Stevia because it isn't artificial. I only add a bit to water, too, or it's way too sweet.
I prefer lemonade, but use way less than the normal mix.

Haven't tried them though. They also have a TrueOrange.

I have tried (through my son's pleading) a lot of the various water 'drops' or the other packets of single serving mixes on the shelves these days. Anything with Splenda just seems to have an astringent quality to me and catches in my throat. I really love the flavor of Hawaiian Punch grape, but can't get past that catching in my throat. I haven't experienced it with this Black Cherry Limeade, probably because of the Stevia.

No sugar in this house, so Torani sugar-free syrups are beloved.

3 pumps of Torani SF brown sugar & cinnamon syrup into 8-12 ounces soda water/sparkling water plus 2 TB half & half.

Mix gently.

(The SF lemon makes perfect french style lemonade when added to soda.)

That black currant & elderflower sounds delicious, though. Those are my 3rd and 4th favorite flavors, right behind cinnamon (obviously) and lemon. I may have to grab some flavorings and get mixing.

Though I probably will buy one eventually. At the moment, the sparkling water of choice is San pellegrino, because it's not expensive at my local costco and it comes in glass. It's the only bottled water I buy, and I don't buy much (a case lasts 2-3 months.) I have suspicions about plastic.

We also have an old style soda siphon that uses the carbon dioxide cartridges; I use that from time to time, but for the most part, I use the CO2 cartridges on my bike tires.

I went to Disney recently with the family and was surprised by a "soda from around the world" exhibit. Coke was the sponsor and it served sodas from different places. Some were odd flavors to me, others were very good to me. I loved one from Peru that tasted like bubblegum. But my favorite was the Fanta Pineapple flavor.
