I googled and dont find any other Darlington County. And Wikipedias entry for Darlington County says:
Darlington County is the subject of a song of the same name on Bruce Springsteen's 1984 album, Born in the U.S.A.
My fellow South Carolinians, we should feel honored that the Boss wrote a song about one of our own counties.

(56,912 posts)"Darlington County" is a 1984 song written and performed by Bruce Springsteen. It was released on the album Born in the U.S.A. and has remained a popular concert song for Springsteen and the E Street Band. The lyrics concern the protagonist and his buddy driving to Darlington County "looking for work on the county line", meeting girls along the way.
The version of the song that was released on the album was recorded in April or May 1982 at the Power Station in one of the early Born in the U.S.A. recording sessions.[1]
The actual Darlington County is in South Carolina.
<snip>
After the Attacks of September 11, the song (whose lyrics mention the World Trade Center) was not played until the third leg of The Rising Tour. On occasions, Springsteen did not sing the line about World Trade Center, instead he mouthed "Nine-Eleven" into the camera. It was played throughout the remainder of the tour and the song reappeared on the Magic Tour. The song has been played about 260 times through 2008.

Driving into Darlington county
Me and Wayne on the fouth of July
Driving into Darlington county
Looking for some work on the county line
We drove down from New York City
Where the girls are pretty
But they just want to know your name
Driving in to Darlington City
Got a union connection with an uncle of Wayne's
We drove eight hundered miles without seeing a cop
We got rock and roll music blasting off the T-top
Singing
Refrain:
Sha la la, sha la la la la
Sha la la la la la la
Sha la la, sha la la la la
Sha la la la la la la
Hey little girl standing on the corner
Today's your lucky day for sure all right
Me and my buddy, we're from New York City
We got $200, we want to rock all night
Girl, you're looking at two big spenders
Why, the world don't know what me and Wayne might do
Our pa's each own one of the World Trade Centers
For a kiss and a smile I'll give mine all to you
Come on baby take a seat on my fender
It's a long night and tell me what else were you gonna do
Just me and you, we could
Little girl sitting in the window
Ain't seen my buddy in seven days
County man tells me the same thing
He don't work and he don't get paid
Little girl you're so young and pretty
Well, walk with me and yo can have your way
And we'll leave this Darlington City
For a ride down that Dixie Highway
Driving out of Darlington county
My eyes seen the glory of the coming of the Lord
Driving out of Darlington county
Seen Wayne handcuffed to the bumper of a state trooper's Ford

(10,491 posts)That line about the World Trade Centers is not fun. Also, that was Bruce's most "little girl" song ever. Which is fun to sing when you are 16 and a little creepy when you are 40.
However, I always loved the closing line:
Driving out of Darlington County
I seen the glory of the coming of the Lord
Driving out of Darlington County
Seen Wayne handcuffed to the bumper of a state trooper's Ford
