(95,337 posts)I work as a volunteer at a local concert venue here in Delaware and we had an Oldies show that was sponsered by a local Oldies station. The Tokens were the last act and only the lead singer was an original part of the band. They did their big song.
The lead singer mentioned he drove down himself from NY STate. When I got to the parking garage I realized I was probably parked next to him because the white caddie next to me had NY plates and a custom license plate that said 'wimoweh'

(10,558 posts)Con Ti Partiro/Time To Say Goodbye as sung by the then 10 year old Miss Jackie Evancho. For those here unfamiliar with what this was about, this young lady blew the roof off of the show America's Got Talent with her earlier debut. This was her second performance, a performance that millions worldwide tuned into just to hear this amazing voice coming from one so impossibly young. Miss Evancho did not disappoint. To this day this very performance of Con Ti Partiro/Time To Say Goodbye brings tears to my eyes and is my hands down favorite earworm period. If you have never heard it, listen in to see why I get all emotional over this. (The actual song starts at 1:36 if you want to skip the intro and only lasts a couple of minutes).
