I know you guys are on a schedule and you have a lot to do, but it doesn't warrant discourteous driving. Remember that the next time you think your job is more important than mine.

(72,300 posts)I'm sorry. They are delivering a new bird cage to my home tomorrow. The pressure may be too much for them.

(6,011 posts)brown stains.
Is that why they are issued brown shorts?
(yes, I know I'm unladylike, but I had 3 older brothers to emulate)

(30,947 posts)are usually very courteous. I live in a mobile home park and there are speed bumps and a speed limit of 5 mph, but the drivers ignore the speed bumps and speed limit and just fly down the road. Since there is limited space for kids to play, sometimes they are on their bikes or playing in the streets. There are signs stating to watch for children playing. But I fear that one day there will be an accident.

(72,790 posts)No disrespect to you because I don't believe I have ever driven on the same road as you, but the ones I encounter, most of them are just awful.

(7,720 posts)I have met two of them who are in their 60s and retired. They worked for UPS for many years. They got bonuses in UPS stock and stock options. They were Teamsters who are now multimillionairs. Maybe I should have been a UPS driver.
On the other hand, I have been told that if a UPS driver is involved in an accident with their truck, even if the accident was not their fault, they are dismissed from their employment at UPS.
