(38,187 posts)KNOWS cats. That looks exactly like something some of my cats through the years would have done.
Yogi is much more interested in walking into and out of the shower before I get in. I used to send him in to check for spiders, but the spiders where we live now are so big that they scare him. He won't tangle with them any more.

(35,622 posts)This a.m. I thought I'd shower without a kitty underfoot and so I shut the BR door and barricaded it with a standing lamp.
It was like being in a castle with the invaders using a battering ram. Now it attracted not one, but two other cats, so three in all were trying to open the door. What they used, I don't know, but it was a constant "bam, bam, bam." I could hear it above the water in the shower.
They were almost successful. By the time I finished my shower, there was a three-inch clearance. I opened the door to see them all sitting there in self-satisfied little puffballs. As they walked in, it was as if they'd evicted a deadbeat tenant and were taking back what was rightfully theirs.

(22,231 posts)my new kitten loves to help me shower. He sits on the other side of the shower curtain and reaches under to check out what I am doing then when I am done he licks the bottom of the shower stall.
He also likes to attack the toilet paper

(12,126 posts)This is such a great collection - but every week you find the greatest photos I have never seen? My kitty has a little long yarned toy that she holds like that calico. She is my personal source of squee.
But this - this threat SCE - what a great way to start the day!

(9,298 posts)about this weekly photo extravaganza is we animal owners/lovers can always relate on a very personal level to at least one picture. We have a "death ray" at my place that travels from room to room, my son Jeff is usually wearing a casual expression, and I'm pretty certain that one day my latest cat adoptee, Rufus, will actually join me in the shower when the water is running. Thank you, Salmon, for yet another stupendous edition. Have a fantastic day today followed by a memorable week, ok?

(8,421 posts)They all are so darned cute. I started laughing right out of the chute with "we ride" and giggled all the way through. How many inanimate objects, like the trailer hitch, want us to remind us of our shins, head, elbow, etc.?
Thanks for the cute owlie, and the door 'puppy holder'... too cute!
Rainy, really windy, and altogether not pleasant here. Hope is is nicer where you are.

Two penguins on an ice flow,
1st penguin says "You look like you're wearing a tuxedo"
2nd penguin says "What makes you think I'm not?"
