Soon it'll be over 80 degrees and I'll be the same miserable sod as I usually am but for the moment I feel content and at peace with the world.

(6,261 posts)I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the world! And everybody is so nice. Total strangers are friendlier and service people more helpful. I bet even your patients will be in a better mood. God is in his Heaven and all is right with the world.

(11,589 posts)IT's been crazy rain here. PArts of the beltway are flooded. WE just had a tornado watch in southern Maryland.
In my general area it's just been a lot of rain and flood warnings. I am glad it hasn't been windy or Thunder-boomy. We've had no wind at all today
just water, water, water.
I live on top of a hill in our neighborhood.

(1,000 posts)I grew up near Milford, remembering that low tide smell when it rained. Now near Tampa, so I can't send you any good weather we're about to get nailed ourselves.
My brother near Pensacola got nearly 20" of rain yesterday.
