Interesting trivia about English actor Esmond Knight
During WWII, Esmond Knight served as a gunnery officer on board the HMS Prince of Wales and was badly injured, blinded for two years, during that ship's fight with the KMS Bismarck. Mr. Knight regained some sight in one eye and later starred as the captain of the HMS Prince of Wales in the 1960 movie "Sink the Bismarck!".
