Okay, so I had food poisoning a few days ago and my stomach is still queasy. I still haven't been able to get productive because I tend to want to sleep. So it occurred to me that the problem is that I haven't had caffeine in four days. So, I'm looking for caffeinated options that are not stomach irritants.
No teas, please.

(14,400 posts)you can pick it up at any drug store.
A friend of mine used it when he was unable to drink coffee for couple of days and started getting caffeine withdrawal headaches.
He claimed it worked like a charm.

(30,947 posts)It works faster and I don't have to wait for the coffee to brew. And it will not irritate your stomach because my stomach is sensitive to pills, but there has been no problem with the caffeine pills.

(46,699 posts)I took that pretty well. It just feels like my stomach shrunk because I get that "full" feeling very quickly. I don't think I'm good for coffee, which has been my morning pattern now for years, but I am close to trying an iced frappucino. The milk might cause problems, but the caffeine might kick in fast enough to offset the negatives.
