Today's good news: Deaf Dog Rosie Adopted By Deaf Woman

After three months at the Central Nebraska Humane Society, Rosie the deaf dog is going to her forever home with someone who understands her - Cindy Koch, who is also deaf.

According to KCTV5, when Rosie first arrived at the shelter in Grand Island, Neb., she was scared and withdrawn. Despite workers’ attempts to coax Rosie out of her shell, she wouldn’t respond to them.
