We go see it for the monsters and the destruction. I saw it on Friday and it includes both those points and it was awesome!

thin and transparent as a slice of fast food bacon...you can read the morning paper through it. Oppsie, spoiler alert. I saw it in 3D-way cool. The plot went south after the first 30-45 minutes but I wasn't disappointed. Godzilla shoots fire that was a wasabi green. The other monsters were cool too. Oppsie, spoiler alert. I won't tell you who won. There were tribute moments that were wonderful inside jokes that nerds and fans will catch.
