but...sigh...they do not grow so well here in Sub-tropical areas.
We DO have honeysuckle and sweet olive, tho.

(50,130 posts)....champagne cocktail, and so on. We also drizzled it on vanilla ice cream. If I had an abundant supply of lilacs, I would make it to sell at farmers market. But I don't.

(3,709 posts)Like Dixiegrrrl.... I once had a yard full... one plant so old it had become a massive tree with hundreds of blooms on it... the aroma was intoxicating.
Lilacs and wisteria are favorites....
