i started laughing - sorry, "brain fart" i told him. still laughing, i told him i had to hang up
giggled about it all day. of course, i remembered it not even 1 minute later - but that would have been too long to hold him on the phone.

when we get older we are not so focused on those one or two things (like the cute guy or girl we used to obsess over, or getting caught having sex in the car, or what clothes to wear on a given night out, etc., etc.)
being a grown-up preoccupies us with major responsibility crap.
life-altering crap.
no wonder we're so mentally scattered
being grown-up sucks most of the time.
too much seriousness, too much responsibility. not enuf joy anymore. (at least that's how it is for me)
