Left coast representing in Florida!!
Last month my wife made a trip with me (I'm a trucker), and my daughter commented that she would like to go along if we head to Florida because the ocean is warmer then at home. Seeing that she is generally embarrassed to be around us (17 y.o.), I figured we should jump on it!
My wife found an inexpensive 1 bedroom condo on the beach in Cocoa Beach FL, and my boss found me a load taking orange and grapefruit juice to the Vero Beach area from Los Angeles. Other then the humidity, this is pretty cool. The waves are very small, but I rented a 10'2" longboard which does the trick here. My daughter even tried to ride a wave on it (a big thing for such a timid soul).
We have tickets to the Kennedy Space Center for Sunday, and will probably hit Disney World tomorrow. People are fairly nice, and all and all we are digging Florida
