Man, all the weight loss commercials on TV

Makes me sick!!! Driving people to loose weight!!!

What about the people who are anorixic?? I try to eat!! I ate good for the first time in a month last night, and I got sick to my stomach today!!! I've been doing this for over 20 years!!! It was my anniversary, and had a good dinner, and my body rejected it!!!

I know there are a lot of overweight people out there, how about the people fighting to maintain???

I've been fighting hard for the past 3 years, , and cannot eat normally!!!

... because almost half the country is overweight, but less than 1% are anorexic.

What amazes me is that everyone hasn't figured out that nothing you can buy on the TeeVee is going to solve your weight problem.

Hope springs eternal I suppose.

Do they advertize by making people with eating disorders feel even worse? Because that's what they do with diet commercials. Make 'fat' people feel as bad as possible.

Permanently.

I've been without one for six years now, and the very best part is that I see so very few commercials. My life is much better this way.

do not wish to see.... It is bliss to watch recorded shows sans commercials or streaming video.

Now and then I will flip on "real time" tv and reinforce my opinion all over again. Funny. I remember commercials from my youth almost fondly. They were usually funny, cute or clever--entertaining. Not--disgusting.

You might want to talk to a dietitian also about a healthy weight-gain diet.

My wife had it and it almost killed her because the doctors in the US she saw could not diagnose it. She went to Europe got it diagnosed and came back here for a simple surgical procedure.

And says it's mental. I believe it's both. I will eat, however too much, I get sick. I may not be purging food, it's my stomach that handle it! On previcid for my stomach, however there are times it doesn't help at all. Dr thinks it's all due to alcoholism, and that's not all it. I just can't eat!!! I've dropped down to 104, and the dr did nothing.

bullshit "educational" commercials by crazy right wing groups and other crap that preys on the weak. I have a remor=te for that.

That aside, I hope someone can help you with your problem. Sounds quite serious, since you are probably missing a lot of nutrition and from what I have heard vomiting can be very damaging to teeth.

However my last visit to the dentist, just a couple weeks ago to get fillings and a tooth. Pulled, the novicaine numbed my mouth, however I felt everything he did. I'm afraid to be knocked out to get the work done. I got really sick after he gave me 15 shots to numb me. My liver couldn't handle it.

I get my carbs by 7up, which that and water is all my stomach can handle.
